Camillus Namata
Co-Founder
Camillus Namata is a distinguished board member of My Doctor. With over 10 years of experience in branding and marketing, she has won multiple awards for her specialty in these fields. Camillus holds a Master of Science degree in Marketing and a Bachelor’s degree with honors in Business Computing, both from Makerere University Business School. Camillus has garnered numerous awards, solidifying her reputation as a leader in marketing.
Innocent Kawooya
Co-Founder and National Independence Medalist
Innocent Kawooya is a co-founder and CEO of HiPipo, an established digital and financial inclusion company in Africa. With over 15 years of experience in the FinTech industry, Kawooya is a specialist in financial inclusion, women empowerment, computer programming, film production, and entertainment. In 2021, Kawooya increased his influence by running for the position of Kampala City Lord Mayor.
Niklas Inderst
CTO
Niklas Inderst is the CTO at My Doctor, leading a team that creates AI-powered healthcare solutions for African communities. With expertise in AI, machine learning, and data-driven systems, he is transforming healthcare access across the continent. Prior to My Doctor, He advised startups at Hive Colab, developed AI infrastructure at AudioStack in London, worked on crop yield optimization with Enactus Munich.
David Mwesiga
MCO
David Mwesiga is a qualified clinician and public health specialist who leads the Clinical Department of My Doctor Digital Health Care Services. He has a special interest in obstetrics and gynecology. David obtained his Clinical Medicine Diploma from Gulu Medical School in 2016 and completed his Public Health Degree from Uganda Martyrs University in 2021. With over 7 years of clinical experience and additional training in obstetrics.
Bridget Nakakuyu Wamai
CEO
Bridget leads a team focused on improving healthcare access through innovative digital solutions. With a background in Business Administration and over five years in finance, she combines strategic and financial expertise to drive My Doctor’s sustainable growth. She has developed financial models that promote sustainability, efficiency, and long-term success, establishing the company as a leader in digital healthcare. Also, She has experience as a Finance Consultant.
Angella Muhumuza
President, My Doctor Community
Joy Mwesigwa is a fourth-year medical student at Uganda Christian University (UCU) and a passionate advocate for youth leadership, public health, and community empowerment. She is the Vice Guild President of UCU Kampala Campus (2023-2024) and President of the My Doctor Community, where she launched the My Doctor Podcast to promote public health literacy across Africa. Joy was named Health Champion of the Year at the AfriGlo Women’s Choice Awards Uganda.
Sharon Nambozo
Business Dev’t Officer
Sharon Nambozo joined My Doctor in 2022 as a Business Dev’t Officer. With a law degree from Makerere University and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice, Sharon has extensive experience as a lawyer at a top law firm and as in-house counsel for HiPipo Foundation. She is highly skilled in navigating the legal landscape surrounding healthcare and has a comprehensive understanding of the regulatory environment governing healthcare.
Arthur Mwesiga
Counselor
Arthur Mwesiga is a highly qualified and experienced Counselor, currently leading the Guidance and Counseling department at My Doctor. 13 years of experience in this field, he holds a Bachelor’s degree of Guidance and Counseling and a Masters of Arts in Public Relations and Media Management. Arthur is highly computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Office. He has exceptional oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Pius Kavuma
Estates Manager
Eng. Pius Kavuma is a seasoned Estates Manager with over two decades of experience in electric engineering, carpentry, and plumbing. He previously worked at Kitovu Missionary Hospital, the second-largest hospital in southern Uganda, owned by the Catholic Church, Diocese of Masaka. Currently serving as Estates Manager at My Doctor, he is responsible for overseeing the management of the hospital’s infrastructure, and facilities.
Abart Aturinda
Nursing and Lab Specialist

Consulting Program Officer
Doreen Nanfuka is a consulting Program Officer at My Doctor, a digital healthcare organization that provides telemedicine services to underserved communities in Africa. In this role, she combines her passion for healthcare and leadership work to support the team with various tasks, including running of the women healthcare empowerment programs and My Doctor’s Scaling program.
Gorret Nakintu
Laboratory Professional
Gorret Nakintu is a diligent laboratory professional who is passionate about serving people and collaborating with others to achieve shared goals. She is experienced in operating in a demanding and dynamic environment, particularly when managing multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously. Gorret’s enthusiasm to expand her knowledge and develop her abilities drives her to welcome new challenges and responsibilities.
Sarah Nakanwagi
Nurse and Midwife
Sarah Nakanwagi is a dedicated nurse and midwife with a strong passion for helping those in need. With years of experience in providing care to patients of all ages, Sarah understands the importance of providing a safe and comforting environment for those who have experienced trauma or are in need of medical attention. Her greatest joy comes from assisting pregnant mothers in delivering healthy babies and bringing healing to the sick.

Client Services
Michelle Epeduno is a skilled Client Services and Reception Personnel at My Doctor with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences from Makerere University. With a friendly and polite demeanor, She excels as a receptionist by delivering exceptional communication and listening skills to successfully interact with all clients and guests, both in person and over the phone. She takes pride in her work as it provides the opportunity to meet new people.
